And that my friends is the re-birth of Wine Wednesday. Wine Wednesday is what is going on with my girls every other Wednesday for as long as we can make it work. We feel like this is a respectable showing for the busy working woman. Especially those of us in the Mommy Club. Way back when, in the newlywed days, pre-children we had Wine Wednesday, Happy Hour Friday, Beach Party Saturday, Cook Out Sunday, Monday Night Football. You get the picture.

Today Happy Hour is a rare glimmer of hope that only happens when you can find someone to pick up your child from daycare, feed said child dinner and prepare them for bed. So basically, this never happens. But Wine Wednesday - it is a realistic, attainable, sanity saving thing. And it sure doesn't hurt when the bar has half price bottles that night too. Wooo-Hooo! Maybe next time we will take some pictures.
